Ahhh NA, now you're a woman with taste. Reality bites, but on occasion I get sucked into some trash tv. hehehe
kidd I watched the first season of survivor a little bit but then lost interest. Hey didn't that winner go to jail for tax fraud on his winnings? LOL
I also so how they were going to do the show this year by breaking the teams up by race!?! How did that work out?

Well, the finals included no caucasians, so anyone who was concerned about stereotypes can rest easy.
What I like about the show is the strategies of the various players and I am annoyed by how illogically they play the game. People will make themselves conspicuous by their actions and become targets because of it. I can't believe how many people will give up a million dollars to get a little "strange", as they say. I don't care how cute the woman is, I figure I can always ask her out AFTER I pocket the cash.

Is surviver a show where they dump ppl on an island a very purty island but minus the fancy stuff. And then they like have to hang on a poll for aslong as possible which makes you go..good grief in the 1st place..by just watching it?
If it is that..i still don't watch it..but i think i know what you're talking about. It's called Expedition Robinson. Probably after that Swiss family Robinson. We're very creative over here

Yep that's it NA! They hang from a pole or have to stand on one foot, on a tiny platform, in shark infested waters and the last one to fall off gets immunity from getting tossed off the show. (I think)

and how does that immunity exactly work in the sharkey kingdom?
I'd say it would be rather sucky if you stood on one foot or did some hanging for hours and you finally win. And when you eventually do fall into the water you become shark bate. Yah..major bummer. But good for ratings

The dangers of snakes, sharks, and other beasties are exaggerated on Survivor. The real risks entail strategy in forming alliances in order to try remain in the game until the end when you have an opportunity to win the million.

I never watched any until this season, and it isn't MY fault.....
So, I watch American Idol now and I also watched some of this season of Survivor. which just pissed me off.....gotta love a show where it actually encourages people to act as petty and as low as they can just for money. If it was actually about surviving on the island and not stabbing people in the back, meaning if it was more about the physical challenges, I would find it more interesting. I can see people acting like this in everyday life, why do I want to watch it on television?
I did watch the finale. and it was good to see the worst of 'em losing it though. And someone that didn't win a single challenge won....which was also interesting...lol
Oh and as my husband points out, I do watch Cold Case Files, American Justice, City Confidential, and shows of that nature.....you know, shows about REAL reality......
